Notes:

Late last month all Helix Customers should have received a yellow postcard with a note stating that Things are looking up!  While, yes, the state-mandated reduction in water use for the Helix service area has been eliminated and there is no limits on days and minutes of watering...this DOES NOT MEAN - WASTE WATER!

Please continue to make water wise decisions. I participated in a recent CA Save Our Water Conference Call and that California is now embracing the message of Water Conservation Statewide: The CA Lifestyle - It's for Life! Thank you for getting through the past 5 years...I think San Diego County has been doing that for a while now, investing, conserving and preparing - so it is good that the rest of the state is moving in this direction, perhaps with more water storage and water meters!

So, now that we have some "extra" water right now, it is important that we focus on Save Our Water And Our Trees! And to Fix it For Good - Rethink Your Yard! Plant that water wise garden that will be beautiful now and for the future, and will get your plants through the next "drought"! "This correspondence, and any documents attached hereto, reflects the individual opinions and positions of the above-named Director and does not represent the opinions or positions of the District's Board of Directors or the District.  Pursuant to Section 9.1-11(A) of the Helix Water District Policies and Procedures Manual, individual Directors, except as otherwise authorized by the Board, shall have no power to act for the District or the District's Board of Directors."
